EverybodyMoves Hub is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. While EverybodyMoves Hub strives to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. EverybodyMoves Hub has undergone an Accessibility Audit and the website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level A. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
EverybodyMoves Hub is repurposed from another public health website called the Food Atlas. We have added features such as checkboxes and scroll down menus for screen readers to tab through the site, search fields and results. We’ve increased the font size, colour contrasts, provided alternative text for any logo or image and spell out hyperlinks wherever possible. The site displays correctly in current browsers.
